SAAAHS Black History Program

Event Description The South Arkansas African American Historical Society (SAAAHS) is inviting the public to attend “Faithful Men of Right and Might,” a Black History Month forum that will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, at St. James Baptist Church, 608 Martin Luther King.

Men in the community will present short messages explaining “some of the differences between the young and mature people of today and those of years gone by,” according to information provided to the El Dorado News-Times.

Members of the SAAAHS said the presenters said they will provide historic information to improve “our homes, schools and city.”
