Event DescriptionA frank discussion about “love and relationships” will be the main topics of discussion during the second African-American Family and Friends Day at South Arkansas Community College, beginning with registration and activities at 8:00 a.m. on Feb. 25 at the SouthArk gymnasium.
A six-person panel made up of men and women from different backgrounds will field audience questions and share thoughts on romantic relationships in the black community. The discussion is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the SouthArk Library Auditorium. Also featured at the free family day event will be workshops on banking, legal services, cyber bullying and others.
Activities will include a Zumba fitness class, card games and a dominoes tournament. Free food will be available and different events will be geared toward all age groups.
