Dec 02   Ebenezer's Christmas Carol
Make your holiday season sparkle with the tradition, fun & buoyant spirit of kindness and generosity in this live performance of Ebenezer’s Christmas Carol. Ebenezer’s Christmas Carol strikes the perfect balance between a traditional retelling of the classic tale, but with a lighter touch which is perfect for younger audiences. As you well know, Ebenezer Scrooge finds himself on a journey of discovery and growth led by three Spirits. These Spirits, however, are Spirits with attitude and humor. Even Ebenezer surprises us with his cryptic sense of humor. And Tiny Tim’s propensity to annoy could be a bigger problem than his crippled leg! The program includes Ebenezer's Christmas Carol featuring the 5-8th grade class and including the 2-4th grade class, and Redheaded Robbie's Christmas Story, a short readers' theatre featuring the 2-4 grade class. Casting for Ebenezer’s Christmas Carol, Grades 5-8, is as follows: - Cooper Carelock as Jacob Marley, Schoolmaster, Mr. Fezziwig, and a Peddler - Emily Henderson as a Christmas Present, Belle, Housekeeper, and Woman Two - Grace McNabb as Christmas Yet to Come, Freddie and Young Man Ebenezer - Mary Claire Parker as Tiny Tim and Young Boy Ebenezer - Lana Rubin as Fanny, Mrs. Cratchit and Woman One - Maddy Todd as Christmas Past - Hannia Valero as Ebenezer Scrooge - Kaden Wood as Bob Cratchit Drama Class, Grades 2-4 will play Christmas Carolers, Fezziwig Partygoers and Cratchit Children in Ebenezer.
