South Arkansas Symphony Presents The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
This 1920's silent film is one of the very first horror films ever made. While ghost stories had been presented in film before, they were encompassed by a recognizable world. This movie utilizes German Expressionism to display an unfamiliar setting where unimaginable horror can take place. Kermit Poling composes music to equal the chill presented by the film with the West Edge String Quartet performing in the background. Don't miss this World Premier Event
