HealthWorks is having a community wide Couch 2 5k training program beginning Monday, January 12th and ending Saturday, March 21st. Each Saturday at 8:00 a.m., weather permitting, meet us at the Union County Fairgrounds for a community run/walk. For HealthWorks members, a training schedule will be posted on the 2nd floor. Non-members may pick up a copy of the training schedule in the lobby of HealthWorks. Inquire at the front desk.

HealthWorks Fitness Center is starting the New Year with Get Lean in '15. This program is an 8 week challenge that focuses on total wellness through a variety of Fat Loss Lifestyle Education Classes and Workouts. Participants will receive a pamphlet containing healthy nutrition and time efficient workouts. Interactive lectures teaching the fat loss lifestyle are scheduled weekly on Sundays from 3:00-4:00pm. This program will end Friday March 20th.

The Circus is coming to Town! The Circus will be in town for one day only February 2nd with one performance at 7pm. The show will be a the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium. Doors open one hour before show time in order to get a good seat. Adult tickets are $16 and children age 2 - 14 get in free with paid adult and a free pass form one of your local merchants. At PANDORA LOUNGE LEAD MAN OF "SILK" In 1992, Gary answered an audition call and earned the role as lead singer for Keith Sweat's newly formed R&B group Silk. Their career began with the success of "Freak Me" and "Lose Control" from Silk's 1992 debut album Lose Control. Their career spanned the globe for nearly ten years, with more than five million records sold. In September 1994, Jenkins appeared in the R&B group, Black Men United with mentor Keith Sweat on the single, "U Will Know" from the soundtrack to the movie, Jason's Lyric. The success of their second album, Silk, led to the follow-up, Tonight. Remaining consistent, they released their fourth album, Love Session in 2001. The group gained national recognition with his appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live with Regis and Kathi Lee, MTV, BET, Soul Train, Jenny Jones, Ricki Lake, Moesha, Showtime At The Apollo and Motown Live among others. Achieving international acclaim, Gary has toured throughout the world in such countries as Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, France, the Netherlands and Germany

Monthly program for older adults 50 and better. Each month will feature a different chef from one of our local businesses in the community. This Concert OVERVIEW Love is in the air and Maestro Poling has put together a program of some of the most beautiful music ever written. Experience these oft unheard of pieces featuring tenor, Randal Rushing and principal French Horn, Tom Hundemer. The concert will conclude with the original version of Appalachian Spring written by American composer, Aaron Copland.
