Sharon M. Tomaski, M.D. from Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Arkansas, will be the guest speaker at the Wednesday, November 4, MCSA Senior Circle Lunch and Learn. Dr. Tomaski, a Board Certified Otolaryngologist, Fellowship Trained in Pediatric ENT, and Fellow American Academy of Otolaryngology, will speak on tinnitus, sleep apnea, hearing loss and snoring. The meeting will be held at the Medical Center of South Arkansas, 700 West Grove, in conference room #3 on the first floor near the main entrance. This program will provide an overview of information on Dementia and caregiving, with time allotted for individual questions. Economic Development Stakeholders, City Leaders, Parks and Playgrounds commissioners This is your chance to provide input into the vision/goals of walkability and bikeability trails in the community, both on and off streets. Also, offer an opportunity for participants to document bicycle and pedestrian issues. Crafton Tull architect Dave Roberts and associate Julie Luther will conduct the meeting. They will present their preliminary work, discuss the overall project strategy, and ask for input.

The Chamber is holding its last 2015 quarterly Economic Outlook Luncheon, sponsored by Calion Lumber Company,Inc., during which representatives from each community in Union County will have the opportunity to report what's going on in their backyard. It will be held at Assembly of God Fellowship Hall: 122 W. Main St., Calion, Arkansas 71724. This is a great opportunity to learn about so many of the good things taking place around Union County and to meet the leaders who are making them happen. Time to get those shoe boxes in to the Collection Center. Operation Christmas Child is a shoe box project of Samaritan's Purse.

Reservation must be made by Monday, November 16. Union County Leadership Class IV Graduation will be held Wednesday, November 18 at College Avenue Church of Christ, 1817 College Avenue.
