Microsoft Project Level 1
Discover how to effectively plan and learn the basic of a project using Microsoft Project. In the session, you'll learn how to use Project to think through and organize your project's details, plan a schedule, sequence tasks, produce a baseline, assign resources and costs, track your progress, identify and analyze variances, and revise your project plan. Once you've constructed to a basic schedule, you'll see how to enlarge it, share it with clients and coworkers. In addition, you'll learn Project's techniques for fine tuning different aspects of your projects, including splitting tasks for work interruptions and defining material consumption rates.

Learn how to fine tune different aspects of your project, including splitting tasks for work interruptions and defining material consumption rates. After completing the course, you'll know how to develop, implement, and control a project plan that meets organizational and customer objectives. Course Objectives: Create a project plan and manage tasks in that plan. Assign and manage resources, work schedules,and calendars. Fine-tune task, resource, and assignment details. Finalize the project plan and critical path by shortening the project duration and settling the baseline. Print summary reports.

Economic Outlook Luncheon Sponsored by Waste Corporation of Arkansas
The Chamber's Economic Outlook Luncheon, sponsored by Waste Corporation of Arkansas, during which representatives from each community in Union County will have the opportunity to report what's going on in their backyard. It will be held at First United Methodist Church, 500 West 7th Street Smackover, AR 71762. This is a great opportunity to learn about so many of the good things taking place around Union County and to meet the leaders who are making them happen. Peter Fletcher Classical Guitar
Classical guitarist, Peter Fletcher, will be visiting El Dorado on Friday, March 11th at 7pm. Peter has been giving over 100 concerts a year since 2003, and "every time he has played Carnegie Hall he has packed the house." The event is brought to the community by Barton Library and will be held at the SouthArk College Auditorium. Come ready to enjoy something spectacular!
