Steve Earle & the Dukes
STEVE EARLE & THE DUKES WITH SPECIAL GUEST, THE MASTERSONS (MAD Member pre sale: Feb. 7-8, Public Sale: Feb. 9) Three-time Grammy Award recipient and 11-time Grammy nominee Steve Earle is a cornerstone artist of Americana music. One of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation; he has released twenty albums"---a number of them were Steve Earle and the Dukes--one was Colvin and Earle, one was Steve Earle and the Del McCoury Band etc. Earle’s songs have been recorded by such music legends as Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris, Carl Perkins, Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill and Joan Baez. He has created such country successes as “When You Fall in Love,” “Guitar Town,” “Goodbye’s All We’ve Got Left,” “A Far Cry From You” and “Nowhere Road.” During his four-decade career, Earle has also become a novelist, a film, TV and stage actor, a playwright, a short-story author, a record producer and a radio host. He is a longtime activist whose causes have included the abolition of the death penalty and the removal of the confederate flag. Always musically adventurous, Steve Earle has crafted folk, blues, rock, country, rockabilly and bluegrass recordings. His diverse collaborators on disc have included such notables as The Pogues, Lucinda Williams, Patti Smith, The Fairfield Four, The Indigo Girls, Chris Hillman, Sheryl Crow and Shawn Colvin. His new Warner Bros. album, So You Wannabe an Outlaw, explores his country songwriting roots and includes collaborations with Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush and Miranda Lambert.

The Mastersons
For the last seven years, The Mastersons have kept up a supremely inexorable touring schedule, performing as both the openers for Steve Earle and as members of his band, The Dukes, in addition to playing their own relentless slate of headline shows and festivals. It was Earle, in fact, who pushed the duo to record their acclaimed debut, Birds Fly South, in the first place.Upon its release in 2012, Birds Fly South was a breakout critical hit on both sides of the pond, with Uncut awarding the album 9/10 stars and Esquire dubbing The Mastersons one of the “Bands You Need To Know Right Now”. Two years later, they followed it up with Good Luck Charm, premiered by the NY Times and praised by Mother Jones for its "big-hearted lyrics, tight song structures, and sweetly intertwined harmonies." Pop Matters ranked it "among the top Americana releases of 2014," while American Songwriter called it "a perfect soundtrack for a summer of warm nights and hot, lazy days," and the Austin Chronicle praised the band's "spunky wit and rare measure of emotional maturity." The album earned The Mastersons slots on NPR's Mountain Stage and at festivals around the world, from San Francisco's Hardly Strictly Bluegrass to Australia's Byron Bay Bluesfest.

Thursday Night Live: The Cordovas
Every Thursday night, the Griffin restaurant presents FREE live music across the genres of R&B, acoustic, rock, bluegrass and country. Check out Thursday Night Live - because "we don't want to change the world, just show it a good time!" Already cult favorites in Nashville, Cordovas have built honorary home bases across the globe, thanks to recurring shows in Todos Santos, Mexico – where ringleader Joe Firstman runs the yearly Tropic of Cancer Concert Series – and a touring schedule that recently including headlining gigs in Sweden and a stateside run alongside the Turnpike Troubadours. The band's sound, though, is decidedly American. Caught halfway between Duane Allman's Telecaster twang, the Dead's hazy harmonies and the stoned swoon of California's folk-rock heyday, Cordovas wring new life from older influences, hoisting their freak flag high on their upcoming album, That Santa Fe Channel.

Casting Crowns
Having served as a full-time youth pastor for over 25 years, Casting Crowns’ front man, Mark Hall, continues to draw inspiration from the well of real life. “Because we have the honor of walking with people in our churches, we get to see what people are going through – the issues that are impacting everyone now,” shares Hall. “It’s in these situations that ideas are born for what we all need to hear right here and right now.” The local church has been the base for Casting Crowns’ music since their label debut release in 2003. With more than 10 million records sold and the title of Billboard’s top-selling act in Christian music since 2007, it’s still where the music is created. Hall and his bandmates – Juan and Melodee DeVevo, Megan Garrett, Brian Scoggin, Josh Mix and Chris Huffman – continue to work in ministry in their respective churches. The local church is the heartbeat of the band and the songs are an outpouring of that. The Very Next Thing, Casting Crowns’ latest offering, is a collection of intimate songs as well as upbeat, fresh sounding tracks with impactful lyrics centered around identifying and acting on what’s right next to you. Thursday Night Live: Dauzat St. Marie
Every Thursday night, the Griffin restaurant presents FREE live music across the genres of R&B, acoustic, rock, bluegrass and country. Check out Thursday Night Live - because "we don't want to change the world, just show it a good time!" Their debut EP “Falling Again” is a collection of well-crafted tracks that showcase Heather’s intoxicatingly rich voice and the duo’s tight vocal harmonies, as well as the duo’s powerful songwriting chemistry. The sound is powerful and often quite raw, with focus on their two voices and only sparse acoustic instrumentation. This powerful and raw sound captured the attention of legendary producer and mixer Ryan Greene during Dauzat St. Marie’s debut performance at the world-famous Hotel Cafe. Greene assisted Mat in the production of “Falling Again” at the duo’s North Hollywood recording studio, and he would later mix the EP.

Phillip Phillips: The Magnetic Tour
Platinum-selling singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips is set to release his new album Collateral on January 19th via Interscope Records. “I'm excited to show people who the new Phillip is,” says Phillips of the new album.“ These songs tell the stories about the past three years - all the good, all the bad, all the sad, all the happy. I promise this next release is worth the wait.” Collateral follows the 2014 release of Phillips’ sophomore album Behind the Light. Since releasing his five-times- platinum debut single "Home" in spring 2012, Phillips has released two chart-topping albums and taken his expansive brand of earthy, guitar-fueled rock to stages across the globe. With his soulful vocals and ruggedly warm sensibilities, the Georgia-bred 26-year- old saw his first full-length effort, The World from the Side of the Moon, go platinum after debuting at #4 on the Billboard Top 200. In 2014 his second album, Behind the Light, offered up the lead anthemic folk-rock radio hit "Raging Fire". Phillips spent this past summer on tour with Goo Goo Dolls performing tracks from his forthcoming album as well as hits like “Home", "Gone Gone Gone" and "Raging Fire".
