The Eskimo Brothers have become known one of Nashville's can't miss live shows. The honky tonk trio has honed their stage show and sound from nearly 300 shows per year and thousands of gig hours in the Music City honky tonks over the past 5 years. When not playing their usual residencies in Nashville and Memphis, the band tours throughout the United States. The band's signature raw and rowdy sound appeals to a wide audience, and much of it can be attributed to their own vast influences. Every Eskimo Brothers song has a qualities that are essential to a Country melody and content, but played with the attitude that draws a Rock fan to a genre that they would usually not listen to. The Eskimo Brothers features David Graham on guitar and vocals and Mark Robertson on bass and vocals. The Eskimo Brothers also occasionally do Nashville shows with Joe Fick on bass.

May 9 JOHNNY DILKS AND THE FUGITIVES
Johnny Dilks, originally from San Mateo, California started his country career with his first band the Rhythm Rustlers, and which eventually because the Visitacion Valley Boys. Having perfected a high and lonesome traditional country sound, Johnny Dilks & His Visitacion Valley Boys were signed by HighTone Records and released the widely praised ‘Acres of Heartache’ in 1999. From this album, track ‘Comin’ on Thru’ was featured in the 2000 crime-thriller ‘The Way of the Gun.’ During this time period Johnny played along-side with Alt-Country/Rockabilly legends Dale Watson, Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys, James Intveld, and Wayne Hancock on numerous bills across the country. In 2009 Johnny moved to New Orleans and formed his band The Highway Kind, which was a 12 piece ensemble mixing the classic sounds of Southern Soul Music with the best of golden years of country music. Today Johnny’s sound is more Honky-Tonk than the high and lonesome throwback sound of the early aughts. Johnny Dilks and the Fugitives are more comparable to Merle Haggard and Buck Owens these days. However, Johnny still does a fair amount of yodeling as featured on ‘Acres of Heartache,’ but it is a nice complement to the sound on his 2016 album ‘Rock Salt and Nails.’ Johnny’s new material along with the songs perfected in California, now add to an amazing show with a perfect Western Swing/Honky-Tonk balance. Johnny Dilks and the Fugitives, can best be described as American Music at its finest. These guys blend the sounds of Classic Country, and souther soul with a flare unique to New Orleans. Acts he’s backed: Charlie Louvin (The Louvin Brothers), Jimmie Rivers. Major Acts he’s been billed with: Jerry Lee Lewis, Guy Clark, Rambling Jack Elliot, Wanda Jackson, Hal Ketchum, Merle Haggard, Hank Thompson, Ray Sharpe.

May 11 South Arkansas Symphony Presents: Mozart & More
The most famous prodigy who ever lived, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a great musician and composer. The South Arkansas Symphony will celebrate the 263rd year since his birth in a concert performance of Mozart's Symphony No. 41 - "The Jupiter Symphony" - and much more. Mozart completed his Symphony No. 41 in C major more than 2 centuries ago on August 10, 1788. The longest and the last symphony that he composed, Symphony No. 41 is regarded by many critics as among the greatest symphonies in classical music. Known as "The Jupiter Symphony", it is the last of a set of three symphonies that Mozart composed in rapid succession during the summer of 1788. The last of Mozart's compositions, "The Jupiter Symphony" is the largest and most complex of the prodigy's works. German composer Robert Schumann said of the symphony in 1835: "About many things in tis world there is simply nothing to be said - for example, about Mozart's C-Major symphony with the fugue, much of Shakespeare and some of Beethoven." Antonio "Nio" Ajero Born in Norman, Oklahoma, 14-year old pianist, Antonio "Nio" Ajero, started piano studies around the age of 3 with his father, Dr. Mario Ajero, Professor of Piano at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He is currently one of only fifteen students from the state of Texas to be awarded a scholarship grant from the Texas Commission of the Arts and Texas Cultural Fund under their Texas Young Masters Program. As a result of the scholarship grant, Nio participated in the Cremona International Music Academy and Festival in Cremona, Italy. He also attended the Piano Texas Festival at Texas Christian University where he performed in concerts and played masterclasses and lessons with Vladimir Ovchinnikov and Igor Resnianski. Nio has performed on NPR's From The Top with host Christopher O'Riley. He has been a featured pianist for the Sugarmill Music Festival in Alexandria, Louisiana. He has won numerous competitions including the Baylor/Waco Piano Competition, Texas State University's Young Artist Piano Competition, the SMU Institute for Young Pianists Competition, the Red River Radio Young Artists Competition, and the James Ramos International Video Competition. Nio is a two-time national gold medalist from the Royal Conservatory for earning the highest marks in the United States for the level 9 and 10 piano exams. In addition to the solo performance, he has performed on piano and harpsichord with groups such as the Piney Woods Youth Orchestra and the Prchestra of the Pines at Stephen F. Austin State University. Nio has been a featured pianist at the Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference and in a TEDx talk given by his father titled "Unreal Music Making Experiences with Technology" where he performed the first movement of the Bach D Minor Keyboard Concerto.

May 18 RYAN PAUL DAVIS
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, singer/songwriter Ryan Paul Davis blends delta blues and traditional southern folk with poetic lyricism and imagery. Often pressing the boundaries of roots and blues genres, his songwriting is characteristically reflective, raw and emotive. Throughout his career, Davis has drawn a wide range of comparisons, from the rustic stylings of Robert Johnson to the intensity of Curt Cobain. Relocated to rural East Texas, Davis is more troubadour than recluse, performing over 200 shows a year across the Southern and Midwestern U.S. Typically armed with primitive foot percussion and custom-built guitars gifted from his father, he is best known for his gritty and soulful live performances. He has shared the stage with the likes of Bob Schneider, Gary Clark Jr., Ian Moore, Hubert Sumlin, and W.C. Clark among others. Davis has been featured in numerous southern festivals such as Austin’s SXSW Music Festival, the Red, White and Blues Festival, and the Texas Blueberry Festival. In addition to touring, he is currently working on his fourth studio album, scheduled for release in 2019.

May 18 ADAM HOOD
Solo artist. Frontman. Behind-the-scenes songwriter. For more than a decade, Adam Hood has left his mark both onstage and in the writing room, carving out a southern sound that mixes equal parts country, soul and American roots music. It's a sound that began shape in Opelika, Alabama. Raised by working-class parents, Hood started playing hometown shows as a 16 year-old, landing a weekly residency at a local restaurant. He'd perform there every Friday and Saturday night, filling his set list with songs by John Hiatt, Hank Williams Jr, and Vince Gill. As the years progressed, the gigs continued — not only in his home state, but across the entire country. Eventually even landing himself a three-year nationwide tour opening for Leon Russell. These days, though, Hood is no longer just putting his own stamp on the songs of chart-topping country stars. Instead, many of those acts -- including Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Anderson East, Josh Abbott Band, Lee Ann Womack & Brent Cobb -- are playing his songs. In 2016, Hood signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Nashville and GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Cobb’s Low Country Sound. All while remaining adamantly focused on his own career, playing around 100 shows annually promoting third solo release, Welcome to the Big World, and now his newest release, Somewhere in Between. A showcase for both his frontman abilities and songwriting chops, Somewhere in Between shines a light on Hood's strength as a live performer. He recorded most of the album live at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studios over two quick days. Teaming up with friend and producer Oran Thornton (Miranda Lambert's Revolution, Angaleena Presley's Wrangled) their goal was to create something that reflected the raw, real sound of his concerts, where overdubs and unlimited takes are never an option. The result is a record that reflects Hood's working-class roots, mixing the upbeat thrill of his roadhouse roots-rock songs with the contemplative, stripped-down sway of his country ballads. Joining him in the studio were guitarist Pat McLaughlin, bassist Lex Price, and drummer Jerry Roe. All of whom captured their parts in just a handful of live takes while Hood simultaneously tracked his vocals. Stripped free of studio trickery and lushly layered arrangements, Somewhere in Between is an honest, story-driven record. One that’s both relatable and deeply autobiographical, with Hood writing or co-writing ten of the record’s eleven tracks, alongside friends like McLaughlin, Brent Cobb -- who also appears on the electrified "She Don't Love Me" -- Josh Abbott, Jason Eady, and plenty of others. Somewhere in Between is an album that finally finds Hood telling his own story. A dedicated family man, he wrote "Locomotive" — a heartland anthem, full of Telecaster twang and sunny swagger — after watching his young daughter develop her motor skills while playing with a set of blocks. Balancing his life as a relentless road-warrior, Hood penned highway ballad "Downturn" about a life filled with wanderlust and long drives from gig to gig. As a blue-collar songwriter, Hood shines a light on everyday experiences — from family and friends to the thrill of Friday nights. Partly because he’s stuck to his roots. The native Alabaman still lives in the Yellowhammer State and celebrates America's rural pockets with songs like "Keeping Me Here" and "Real Small Town," two songs filled with images of main streets, open landscapes, hard times, and good people. "It's southern music," he says, grouping Somewhere in Between’s wide range of music under an appropriate banner. "That's what it represents: the soulful side of southern music, the country side of southern music, the genuineness of southern culture, and the way I grew up. One of the t-shirts I sell at every show simply says ‘Southern Songs,’ and It's a good summary of what I do. It's what I've always done."
